QarVision™
Data Analysis
QarVision™ stores all data in an Access database for each elevator. Easy-to-use graphing and reporting tools retrieve the data for any specified time period, and displays them in the format most useful for analysis. The graphs will depend on the application that was used to create the data.
All of the data that are collected for a particular elevator are available in the same database and can be selected for graphing. Each graph is created in a separate window within the EPM graphing program. You can select any of the available data that were enabled when the unit was installed. You can select the timeframe for each graph.
The INSPECTION section contains all of the measurements from the main application of the QarVision system. Graphing the acceleration on door activity shows the complete record of the elevator’s operation relative to time. Each trip is shown as an acceleration and a matching deceleration. Any abnormality of the trips are shown in red. Showing the acceleration as well as the door operation reveals any problems with the doors. Graphing door activity also allows a quick visual scan to check for problems in opening or closing times.
Graphs of acceleration data show the smoothness of elevator movement. Problems with jerk, jitter, etc. can be easily identified. Any motion of the elevator car relative to the door is easily identified.
Speed graphs show the up and down speeds of the elevator car relative to each floor. This graph helps verify that the elevator is properly adjusted.
Reports help find anomalies and identify problems quickly. They can be created on demand, for any time period, to identify trends and changes in operating parameters. The image above shows just a portion of a complete report.
All of the data in the QarVision database can be exported for your own analysis or for integration with other systems. Excel and .csv files can be created using the Microsoft Access database program. Reports can be generated in text format as well.
